Born in Santiago Chile, Francisca Garcia has been living in NYC for the past 10 years. She is a modern dancer-choreographer and a Gyrotonic instructor. As a Gyrotonic instructor, she is certified to teach the Gyrotonic Tower, the Ladder and Jumping Stretching Board, all equipment used in the Gyrotonic Expansion System.

In addition to her work as a Gyrotonic instructor, Francisca is part of the certification program to become a teacher of Klein Technique, a method used and taught mostly among modern dancers. Greatly influenced by this technique, she applies the knowledge of body function to her teaching and is grateful to work on such an evolved machine, one that will enable people to connect to their bodies and therefore gain a new and authentic sense of themselves.
